Website updates
The IFIS Website is at www.ifis.org.uk
I've recently done some minor upgrades:
The library booklist search tool is improved, allowing you to search
for all books by anyone called "anne" that have the word "dragon" in
the title, or all books that are supposed missing (search for location
"missing"), etc etc.
The events page has, of course, been kept as up-to-date as I can keep
it.
Phil has sent me 2 maps - one of them showing you how to find the
Westminster Central Hall where the sci-fi mart thing happens, and one
showing a large collection of shops in the tottenham court road
area. These have been linked in under the "shops" page and also
there's a link from the "events" page for the moment.
Chris T, some time ago, sent me a whole load of pictures he'd taken
with his expensive new digital camera. More recently, Asan sent me a
copy of the "Star Trek: Insurrection" poster. I've decided to combine
all of these under a new "pictures" section, and I'd welcome any other
images that anyone cares to send in in JPEG or GIF format (although I
can convert almost any other format).
That's about it for the current wave of updates. There's a MAJOR
update planned for the not-too-distant future, including a complete
overhaul of the entire look of the site, but I'll let you know about
that closer to the time.
That address again, www.ifis.org.uk
... and remember, the ".uk" bit is important unless you want to learn
about food science.
