First, I apologise for not telling everyone in person last night but I
only returned from the Assessment Centre at 5.30pm and I was extremely tired.
Moving on, the AGM will be next Thursday (10th April) in Lecture Block B
at 7pm. Agenda as always -
Minutes and Apologies for non-attendance
Committee reports
Standing-down of current committee
Elections for new Committee
Results of Election
AOB
and then down to the pub.
I have an item for the AGM this evening, just like the one that Gamesoc
did before Easter:
I propose that the following amendment be made to the
IFIS comstitution.
After paragraph g) subsection ii), the following words shall be inserted:
Before elections, the Returning Officer shall read out the following
statement:
"Experience has shown that final year students have considerably higher
workloads than previous years. This has resulted in committee members
being unable to fulfil the responsibilities of their posts."
I apologise in advance if I cannot attend the AGM but I am undergoiung
major dental work that day and could well be in a lot of pain (for all of
you who are vaguely interested it is a root canal). I will, however, be
down the pub the following Thursday.
Ouch, Sounds painful.
