I'm doing an essay on a book by "Dead Cities" and for their webpage you
need to download "shockwaves" and some real-time thingy (i think) from an
apple web page, but it takes FOREVER, and nothing seems to happen.
Can anyone explain (preferably in words of one sylable or less
because i'm a bit technophobic) if there's any possibility of actually
seeing this bloody web page?
Chill out and boogy,
viv
Macromedia's Shockwave is available at:
ftp://ftp.stats.gla.ac.uk/pub/support/plugins/
Apple's Quicktime is available at:
ftp://ftp.stats.gla.ac.uk/pub/support/qtime/
Both are on a 120+ Kbps (ie. FAST) server.
Realplayer is a pain in the arse as it looks like you are going to have to
stick with http://www.real.com
Hope this helps...
