Hi again,
I have a cool idea. We could do a major Star Wars night, perhaps at
the weekend so as not to waste Thursday drinking time, and dress up as
characters from the films, comics and books. There's so many characters now
we could all go as someone different.
Indiana Jones films are sort of fantasy films, as the artifacts he
finds the places he goes to ie. the temple of doom, and the things which
happen are pretty amazing and fantasy-like , although it's set in a real
sort of setting. Unlike Titanic, which is based on what actually happened.
About Armageddon, I so agree with you. (I'd better not elaborate
further in case there are people who haven't see it. Oh, just a minute....

more spoiler space DON'T LOOK DOWN IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN ARMAGEDDON!!!
That spoiler space thing's a good idea!!!
Here we go. I suppose if they hadn't come back, it would have been
a less satisfying ending for the film. And in real life, I think generally
people would have wanted the people who had just saved the world to survive
so they could be heroes, or so they could thank them for doing it. Anyway,
nobody would have wanted them to die. But I do see your point, it would be
better for them to die and have a successful mission than if they had lived
and jeopardised the operation.
