Quiz

Hiya,
In response to philip's question on a quiz. It has been suggested before
but there has been a general lack of interest before. However, we MAY be
persuaded to get one sorted in time for christmas. All depends on the
amount of interest I receive and how much cash the society has for Prizes.
I do know that Holloways held an x-files competition last year, and won
meself a nifty X-files Video/Board game. And all for a quid!!

We shall see :)

Prizes ? IFIS Quiz are meant to have prizes ?

NOOOOOO !

IFIS Quiz's have :
bribing the judge with beer
having to sing star treking or the red dwarf song to get to the loo
bribing the judge with fags
having to desperately struggle to remember what HAL stands for
bribing the judge with cash
squabling with your team mates
remembering obscure SciFi knowledge
saying "Who ?" every time David Gemmel gets mentioned and
generally bribing the judge with whatever currency he deams acceptable on
the night ....

We do after all have to consider tradition here......

Hey bud, have done.
The introductory meeting is in Founders MLT at 7pm tomorrow. We will be
introducing people, and then showing Starship Troopers. I'm surprised you
didn't see us at the fresher's fayre, because there were six to eight of us
on stage at all times. Makes you wonder if it was worth it really...
I feel priviledged.
