Bab 5 con
For those like me who are desperately scrabbling to get to the Bab 5
convention, tickets for Saturday are available at the Con on the Friday
evening between 6 and 10 pm (and likewise for Sunday).
That is the day when they will be showing the film (see below for words from
JMS himself :-)
*If* I am there (i.e. money permitting), and anyone who wants to go, but
cannot organise tickets in advance, wants to hand me wadges of cash, I will
get them tickets. That would be 30 pounds, as opposed to 25 in advance.

Latest information from JMS ...
I've been in consultation with WB Legal Affairs to secure permission to
do something we haven't done in six years, and the word just came
through that it's approved.
Six years ago, we debuted "The Gathering" in rough cut (producer's cut)
at WishCon on the East Coast here. It became kind of a historic moment
for B5, and for everyone who attended, who could say later, "I was there
I've obtained permission to hold a FREE screening for attendees at The
Wrap Party conference for a work in progress...the producer's cut of
either "The River of Souls," our second B5 TV movie featuring Martin
Sheen and Ian McShane, or or "A Call to Arms," which is the segue TV
movie to CRUSADE, introducing at least two of the new characters who
will be series regulars on that series.
This will be without music, with some EFX, and others still to come
(with artwork as place holders). It will be a rare chance to see how
such a project comes together at an early stage, normally never by the
public. We'll talk about where the music will go, how the music is
chosen, how the effects are created...all that and more.
This is a one-time situation, and it may well be another six years
before we do this again.
This is a special feature available only once, at the Wrap Party
conference.
--------------
Bribes/loans etc welcome to get me in for Friady night so I can do this :-)
