I first sent out a request for articles a couple of months back.
I have received one promise of an article so far.
I will accept anything,
Why Talisman is great,
Why Janeway should be deified, (If anyone can come up with good
reasons for this I will call a psychiatrist for them immediately.)
Why Beverly Crusher should be hoist on her own Picard,
What is your favourite book.
What is Sheridan's favourite book,
I'm sure you lot have better ideas than these. So send me some articles.

*Please* can you only put articles in of some quality. It is not fair on the
students to make them waste their theoric on rubbish.

I will try and get round to writing something in time for next term, but as
that is quite a way away, it will get low piority.

Discussion of what goes into RWAV may be "on topic", but it is not of
interest to those who do not intend to contribute to or read it. Hence the
send to me.
Any articles you have should be sent directly to me or I will not assume
they are intended for inclusion.
I apparently was not making myself clear enough. The 'anything' refers to
ideas for the articles, as in I will accept articles on any related subject.
The list you snipped out of your reply was intended to demonstrate this
point. I have in the past simply ignored articles that were completely crap.
However I do make a deliberate effort not to exclude articles simply because
I am not interested in the subject matter. If the writing style is readable, and
the subject matter bores me silly, I remind myself that it may well interest
other people.
I would like to have all the articles about a fortnight or so BEFORE the beginning
of next term. This will give me more time to format it to look nicer.

How about sending me a disk with the previous mag on so I can put it on the web
site...

Plus, this may sound radical and maybe it's already been done but how about
putting an issue number and date on the front cover. We should make it a
competition to try and guess the year and term of old mags based on people
mentioned in them and comments about the weather...
