for kids. Only one of these were actually written by Disney. The
rest were written for yound kids by a collection of authors. The
Greek myths etc. were written for adults with some very good plots and
lessons. Cutting them down for kids is a big mistake...
In 400 years I bet Disney is just a footnote. The older films are already
being classed as relics. They will be around, but not in the same way as
Shakespeare - who is still in the mainstream of films etc. A case in hand
is that no one does remakes of them - but the plays are always being remade.
The musical comedy version of Cthulu - a though that generates pure
terror.
