Thanks for the info...

I was surpise to hear that the books were not insured, I remember filling in
and handing in the paperwork myself... It just goes to show what the SU is
really like.

The bit about short skirts, reminded me of the pub ammendments -
1) You can only vote if you have two pints before hand.
2) You must wear glasses - or be hit by a baseball bat till you need to.
3) You must have a beard (false one will be provided).
(2 and 3 where passed when beards and glasses were in the majority).
4) We are allied to two Russian authours who I can't even try to spell.
It was after we hd voted we realized we have a fill corum including
the chair and secretary.

Maybe a list of all old. constutitions etc. would be good on the Web site.

The books are apparently insured by the SU cos they're in the Union
building. Does this mean that in the past IFIS has paid for seperate
insurance?

I personally liked all the stuff about not allowing Jack Dee to be a member
cos of his cruelty to penguins. Made perfect sense what with the IFIS
mascot being a penguin. Now that Andy P's bottom is the mascot I guess we
should ban Andy himself for inflicting it on us *P).

Maybe a list of all old. constutitions etc. would be good on the Web site.

Or even a history of IFIS - there are plenty of people around from the early
days to recount stuff, as long as their memory hasn't gone yet *P).

Either would be welcome, if anybody can email them to me...

.... or hell, provide them onthat old PAPER stuff (you know, dead
tree?) and I'll type them in - that's what I'm intending to do with
the "new book releases" in the next few days, and probably any changes
discovered in the library in the planned audit "after the exams".
