Dear All,
Due to pressure of work, I will not be able to run the
library this week. So unless someone else wants to it's going to be
closed.
Luke, I thought we had a new commitee to organise that :-). So I would
be
suprised if anyone expected you to. You can *relax* now -it is someone
else's turn:-)
Yeah, go lie down in a darkened room or something. It's not your problem
any more. :-)
As for who *is* organising it, I know that there are several people
out
there with keys- perhaps they want to own up to having one, so that
they can
either be added to the list of those who share the
library opening, or
pass
them on.
[I have one key, but am unlikely to be reliable in the week]
I do hope that our new comittee have in store plans for making up a
rota of
who is opening it each week, as it was obviously a bit much for one
person
:-). Maybe even more publicity, as we now have the easier access to
the
books with our new shelving units.
Yeah, sure, as long as people can agree as to who is actually on the
comittee. :-)
Well, I've sent two messages to
ifis-announce in the last hour, and
neither of them seem to have got through (it might need looking at,
alternatively it could just be RHBNC being crap again), so I'll tell you
all now (with apologies if you get this multiple times). Message reads:
"Yes indeed, the
library will be OPEN this week. Usual time (3.30-5pm)
usual place (through the door to the right of the SU Box Office). It
would be nice if people who currently have books on loan could return
them by the end of term. Bring them down and give them to me at the pub
on Thursday if you can't make it during the day."
Message ends. Thank you for your time, this has been a public
information broadcast.
Later,
Steve :-)
