It's oh so quiet...

So... RHBNC goes down and comes back up again better than ever (it still
hasn't crashed yet!), and hardly anyone sends anything in... where the
hell is everyone? Come on, let's have an argument or something!

Topics for heated debate:

- Who should be next chairman of IFIS, and why;
- Future IFIS screenings (ie. the one we haven't decided yet);
- How Page's Bar managed to find 2 episodes of Voyager everyone liked;
- Whether or not Luke Dalli is the Devil's spawn;
- What the chances are for plans to re-clone Elvis from one of his toe
clippings (this is not something I've just made up, incidentally!);
- Why Chris Lyth's first batch of "The Lost World" posters were, to use
the vernacular, "pants";
- How we're all going to die from anthrax because we don't have an FBI
over here to catch those pesky Iraqis (read the news, people!).

That's just a few I can think of - maybe we'll talk about something
scientific as well...? (James Hadwen and Mary-Jane Roebuck instantly
shriek "NOOO!!!")

Voyager is an attempt to return to the successfull format of
Star Trek: TOS. Unfortunately what they (and the makers of Mars Attacks)
didn't realise is that whilst Star Trek: TOS is successfull because it's
cheesy, copied cheese sucks big time.

Still they've taken a leaf out of Baywatches book for the next season,
("Yeah so basically, your a borg, no-personality daarling, which is
handy for you - just take your shirt off for me would you? Great,
you've got the parts, errr part.") so it might be worth watching.
Then again....
Besides why would we need the FBI when we have MI6? Have you heard of
any cases of Nazi's trying to make a biological bomb in the UK?

Yes, it's happened. Chilard has somehow managed to turn a reasonably
sane mailing list into a vent for people's rampant paranoia. Next we'll
