Hi,
I got bored with the Amrak series and never actually finished it -
but despite that they not that bad. The hardest SF book I even seen is
"The Nigth Land" by William Hope Hodgeson (I think I spelt the author name
correectly), I will often anyone who can read this a prize; 2 weeks in a
mental hosipital of their choice.
I am a great Frank Herbert fan - has anyone else managed to wade thought
"God Emperor" to get to his last two books - which I think are absolutely
brilliant! If so, any ideas what he was going to do in his last book (he
died before it was completed and the notes he left were too confusing
to make out the plot).
I'm getting really pissed with most bookshops, if you try and find a SF
book you have to wade though all the Dr Who, B5, Star Trek etc. books and
you migth find one or two which are actually original...
Daniel
