Members choice night on the 11th Feb
As was mentioned on Tuesday, on the 11th of February we're having a Members
Choice night. This is where the members actively decide on what is being
watched rather than the committee. But unlike previous years, it's not
deciding it on the night. Instead we're doing it in advance via the
website (hence me explaining stuffs :) )
It goes in two stages:
Stage 1 - nominations
You have up until 2 weeks before the event (Jan 28th) to nominate something
you'd be willing to bring along. So if there's a particular subgenre you
think has been neglected or something really awesome you think we should
see, then this is the time to make it known.
Stage 2 - voting
There is then a week of voting on the nominations which finishes on the 4th
of Feb at which point the winner will be announced.
Both stages require you to confirm your attendance of the event.
Chris the web guy
PS confirming you're going to events is a Good Thing(tm) generally as it
earns you points and lets the committee have a good idea how many are
turning up which can help them secure better facilities if required.
