7,088 km, 1,431 hours (Waterloo ON to S Panama) + Columbia +
8,469 km, 1,730 hours (N Ecuador to S Argentina / Chile) =
15,557 km, 3,161 hours (at least) =
about 13 months, if walking 8hrs/day at a fair human pace, plus Columbia
:-)
But technically possible... Especially if he can swim from Panama to
Ecuador and avoid that pesky Columbian bit.
... or 8 days of uninterrupted driving, or realistically 2-3 weeks if
you want to sleep, eat, refuel, or occasionally stop for 20 mins to take
in a view. Nice route though!
For reference, I tried to get a London to Eastern Siberia route for
comparison, but ran out of roads around 12,500km. Wow, the world's big :-D
