Geeky themed independent musician
Hey folks,
Something that may be of interest to some of you lot... One of the other SF
groups I'm a part of has a gig from a geek-inspired musician coming up soon
- Marian Call (http://www.mariancall.com/) will be playing at the Mad
Hatter pub (about 10 mins walk from London Waterloo) on the 5th November.
It's not a ticketed gig, but tipping the artist (as in "giving her money",
not "placing her on an incline") is encouraged.
For examples, go here:
http://mariancall.bandcamp.com/ (the particularly SF-inspired album is
http://mariancall.bandcamp.com/album/got-to-fly )
She's in London on November 4-5-6, and she'll be singing at the Mad Hatter
the night of the 5th. Not exactly my usual kind of music, but still rather
entertaining and worth a bit of support. If you fancy going along, the
gig's on meetup.com and the organisers would appreciate folks joining the
event on there:
