The Good, The Bad and the WTF IS THAT??
Dear members- humans and nautiloids alike,
This is a very late email( it's the end of the year but I'm allowed bad habits before we get get new people who I have to impress with efficiency!) and you have my apologies.
We shall have our last two film nights in our beloved ALT2 at 7 pm both this week and the next (subject to SU inefficiency as per usual) . Therefore I have a grand plan to round off our year:
This week's movie shall be terrible: what better way to appreciate the good movies there are out there than to witness what absolute lulus there are out there in term of awful movies. And no it's not Wizards of the Lost Kingdom(I'm saving that for next year!)
I have decided as a sequel (or rather prequel) to the fun event that was Dungeons& Dragons 2: Wrath of the Dragon God, we shall watch Dungeons& Dragons (The Movie). Witness such wonders as an elven Time Lord, a camp-as-ever Richard O'Brian(yay), and the usual suspects such as Jeremy Irons( being the biggest ham in the galaxy), bad specials effects, lack of acting ability etc...
And to send the year out on a higher(not hard after that!) note, there shall be a lovely movie to restore everyone's faith in the movie industry( or most people's at least) next week! Watch this space...
Pub night on Thursday at the Alma Mata as ever. Oh and a general meeting at 5.30 tomorrow for those who are interested...
