EasterCon write up
So as some of you may have heard me mention, there was a
sci-fi/fantasy convention over Easter called (unsurprisingly)
EasterCon or Olympus 2012. And it was *LOTS* of fun. There were a
handful of famous authors as guests of honour and an even larger
number of authors who had just turned up because they too are fans of
sci-fi and fantasy. Rather than repeat myself (sort of) I'm going to
point people to my (brief) write up of the event on my blog
http://themadone.livejournal.com/707035.html
There's even a picture of my sitting broodingly on the throne from the
Game of Thrones :)
Next year's EasterCon is in Bradford - I think it's called Eight
Squared Con. The one in 2014 is in Glasgow (they try and plan them 2
years in advanced). There might also be a Worldcon in 2014 held in
London - I think they've not voted on that yet, but London is the only
contender atm.
