I can't remember how much anyone has mentioned Eastercon yet - it's a 4 day
sci-fi convention held over the Easter weekend (hence the name). If you
were planning on just bimbling along one day and paying on the day, then
you'll most likely find this is no longer possible. Apparently they are
rapidly approaching some level of maximum capacity and when that happens
they'll stop selling tickets and won't sell any on the door.
So to insure you're ability to attend, you should probably pre-book ASAP.

Headlining it is some guy called George R. R. Martin. Not sure entirely who
he is, but I hear he wrote some books about a throne and playing games on
it or something ;)

Yes there are two paths you can go by but in the long run, there's still
time to change the road you're on

Hmm Cory Doctorow, sounds great. I would go but apparently Easter is some sort of holyday for those of us of a Christian persuasion (God knows why (-; ) so no can do. :-(
