Hi,
Talk about wild generalisations...
There are Christians who are scientist, there are Christian who have a
long term picture. In fact atheist have been respondable for as much
destruction of the earth as any one else. The pre-christians cut down
the European forests and turned it into a barren grassland - compared
to what was there before. Russia is a mess. The Chinese population is
still growing etc.
The current solutions are education and re-distribution of resources -
this is independance of religion.
As to where all this is going..
Such an inbalance can't last forever - something going to break, maybe WWIII
or just a slow evolution of the world ecology. It has happen before Once
Euro-asia had all the resources, then it was Mediterrean countries, then it
move to Northern Europe and now it's split across American and the Far East.
