Game of Thrones, Tuesday 15th November, 7pm, IN045 (International Building)
Hi everyone, hope all is well,
Tomorrow we're showing the first two episodes of HBO's epic fantasy
series *Game
of Thrones*, described as a cross between The Lord of the Rings and The
Sopranos. Based on George R. R. Martin's series of fantasy novels, *A Song
of Ice and Fire*, it has a stellar cast, featuring Sean Bean, Lena Headey
and Mark Addy, and it's awesome (did I fail to mention that?)
We're in the slightly awkward International Building this week, in room
IN045 (on the ground floor), but we will be going to The Stumble Inn
afterwards, so ROUTINE WILL BE RESTORED. ALL HAIL ROUTINE.

Not having seen anything much of The Sopranos, don't know if that fits. However, having seen Game of Thrones, I would concur that it is indeed, awesome. I was wondering about Mark Addy's casting (I was expecting someone taller and generally big, like John Rhys-Davies, or a young Brian Blessed), but it seems to work well. Sean Bean seems to have Ned Stark nailed, too.
Should be fun!
Though, maybe you should be attaching a "loads of sex" warning...

Also featuring a kid that looks like a young Sandi Toksvig as Joffrey Baratheon.
And the kid is a boy.
