IFIS website - a few tweaks...
Hey folks,
A couple of bits and bobs have moved around on the IFIS website today as
ChrisT and I managed to get some time to hack around with it a bit. Or, more
accurately, we found time for me to say "move that over there a bit",
"change that to be like this other thing" and "Let's make that tidier" and
for Chris to do all the coding changes.
The main changes you might want to know about:
* When you're logged in, you can see your profile picture and rank right
there on the homepage, along with any other potentially relevant
notifications.
* The members homepage no longer shows a raft of future pub meets - it
wasn't helpful to see them all. Now it shows you the next pubmeet unless
you choose to look further into the future.
* There's now a "suggest an event" thinger on the events page, but at the
moment it's just hooked up to the "vote for films" thing. It'll get hooked
up to something better when Chris has time to build it!
There's a fair number of other tweaks and adjustments too, and more on the
way whenever Chris can find the time to poke the code with sticks to do a
few more things.
