Members' Choice, Tuesday 18th October, 7pm, ALT 2
Hi everybody,
This week we're doing things a little differently, by letting YOU decide what we watch. Bring along a DVD and through the exciting process of a series of democratic votes, you'll choose what we watch tomorrow. You can bring a film or a TV programme down, so long as it's remotely sci-fi, fantasy or even horror related, so here's your chance to impress us.
Whatever you decide to watch, we will watch it in ALT 2 at 7pm tomorrow (Tuesday), and will be heading down to the Stumble Inn after. I'm also reliably informed that free drinks are still available to new members who come down with a SF quote to the Al Ma Ma Ta pub on Thursday nights (see our webmonkey Chris for details).
Things will be back to normal next week with an awfully early Hallowe'en film, so stay tuned for news on that front.
See you!
Mohamed
(IFIS President 2011-2012)
P.S: We have heard rumours that the SU activity office is allowing you to join societies by visiting them in the SU building and paying in cash, if any of you are having trouble with the online system (which is here: http://www.su.rhul.ac.uk/societies/6533/).
P.P.S: If none of you bring any DVDs down for tomorrow we WILL watch Superted. Every last episode.
