Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Tuesday 27th September, 7pm, ALT 2
Hello everybody!
As you're hopefully already aware, our first film of the year is Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which sees the return of the pauper of the surf, Captain Jack Sparrow, as he seeks out the legendary fountain of youth (while swaying from side to side and being generally clumsy along the way.) We'll be meeting in the Arts building foyer just before 7pm tomorrow (I.e. Tuesday) night. After the film we'll head down to The Stumble Inn as usual for a chat and general silliness.
We will also be meeting at The Al Ma Ma Ta pub near Egham station for our other weekly social every Thursday at 7pm (even outside of term time), so if you can't make it to the Tuesday films, fear not!
Due to that darned Zuckerberg, our old Facebook group has been archived, but we've got a new presence at www.Facebook.com/surhul.ifis , so do join us there also if the new Facebook doesn't cause you to weep uncontrollably in a corner.
Membership this year is all done online at the SURHUL website, so if you didn't get a chance to sign up at Freshers Fayre, (or if you fancy trying us out before you part with your hard-earned credits) you can do so at http://www.su.rhul.ac.uk/societies/6533/.
Hopefully we can welcome you all back tomorrow (or today as it's now gone midnight).
All the best,
Mohamed
