I think it was probably called "How to be a complete bastard". No lie.

one of the people you interacted with, and put it in the microwave in
the
kitchen. It exploded and splatted the inside of the microwave.
Now *THAT* is what I call attention to detail
It kind of reminded me of the bit in Day of the tentacle where you defrost a deep frozen hamster in a microwave for use in a hamster powered generator.
Yes, Day of the tentacle was not Amiga and the hamster survives because you need to use it to power your time machine, but it is funny when you stick the animal in the microwave and a message comes up telling you that if you do this in real life, your mummy and daddy won't love you anymore.

Maybe it was Maniac Mansion then?
Never played it, but it sounds plausible.
Dominic.
If it's stupid and it works, it's not stupid.

It was Maniac Mansion from LucasFilm Games (as it was then, now LucasArts),
but it was also Day of the Tentacle as well, because that contains the
entire Maniac Mansion as a hidden game.
Now if we're talking about cool adventures from the Lucas ranch, you can't
beat Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders (now where did I put those
nose glasses) or any of the Monkey Islands.
Sorry, this is not really science fiction or
IFIS related. I'll shut up.

THAT'S IT!!!!!!!!
Thank you for putting me out of my misery. Sad really, 'cos I never even
owned an Amiga. It was a friends, and he didn't have the ingenuity to put
the hamster in the microwave.......

There was Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders... You could get an egg
and distract the airline stewardess by blowing it up in her microwave...

There was a hell of a lot more in Zak...... some of the things I managed
