Doctor Who - The Seeds of Doom, Tuesday 23rd November, 7pm, ALT 1

Allo gang,

Now, this Tuesday it's the 47th anniversary of Doctor Who, so to celebrate we're showing one of the greatest stories of the Tom Baker era, The Seeds of Doom.

This serial, from 1976, sees the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith fight to save the planet from infestation by a vicious alien plant species, the Krynoids.

Interestingly enough, it features some familiar faces in guest roles, particularly if you're a fan of Only Fools and Horses.

Can you also think about whether you will be attending the IFIS Christnas dinner, and if so can you get your menu choices to us ASAP?

Interestingly enough, it features some familiar faces in guest roles,

Or the Italian Job!

The casting of this story is one of the most mind blowing things in Doctor
Who when you see the lead villain and his henchman!

Apparently the OF&H actor had quite a run as a heavy in the 70s, with the
late, great Douglas Camfield casting him in similar parts more than once.
