An Episode A Day Keeps The Daleks Away

Next Tuesday is 23rd November, and the 47th anniversary of the first
broadcast of Doctor Who.

As is traditional Phil will be watching an Unearthly Child as he has done
every year since ...... well actually the IFIS DW Anniversary video night
in 1993 (AN Unearthly Child, Destiny of the Daleks, Earthshock).

However this year I'm using it as a springboard to watch (or listen*) to
every episode of Doctor Who.

* 108 episodes no longer exist as film/video recordings but do have the
Soundtracks in existence.

I'm going to write a blog on the experience. See

Don't know if I'd have the stamina to do this myself (although I might have a go in 2013!), but I will be following this as you go through it. Will be very interested to hear your thoughts on Doctor Who as it changes and morphs into the programme we have today. You'll have a lot to talk about by October 2012!

Well as someone who's stuck at home all day I've got a bit more time on my
hands than most people :-)
