Coraline, Tuesday 2nd November, 7pm, ALT 1 (Arts Building)
Evening all,
Apologies for the late e-mail, I have been blighted by a strain of the
space-flu. Or something.
Anyway, we're still feeling a bit Hallowe'en-y, so the film we are watching
tomorrow (Tuesday) evening is 'Coraline', the adaptation of Neil Gaiman's
spooky children's novella. Dakota Fanning voices the title character, an
11-year old girl who finds herself in a creepy "other world", brought to
life in amazing stop-motion animation by the director of 'The Nightmare
Before Christmas' and 'James and the Giant Peach'.
After the movie, we will head down to the pub (namely the Stumble Inn) for
festivities and merriment and such.
The droogs at the S.U. activities office will be baying for blood soon (or
your membership money and details, I don't know), so any Student Activities
Membership numbers from existing members as well as membership fees from new
members would be greatly appreciated, as we need these all very soon.
See you tomorrow (and/or Thursday)!
