Rune With a View, The IFIS Magazine - Can You Help?
Hi everyone,
We're a month away from Fresher's Week, and a new term of exciting sci-fi
and fantasy goodness at IFIS. Those of you with particularly good memories
may recall that we resurrected the IFIS magazine, Rune With A View, for
Fresher's Fayre last year. We intend to produce another issue of this fine
organ for this coming Fresher's Week - and this is where you come in.
We are after a whole range of articles, including book and film reviews,
fanfiction (no slash, kthnx), and comic art. You could even write something
about why you love SF. It's up to you.
The deadline's a bit tight, but any submissions will be gratefully received
by the 13th of September. You can e-mail your articles to
committee@ .
We'll also be announcing our first bunch of IFIS events in the coming weeks,
so stay tuned.
Don't forget that there are still weekly meets at the Al Ma Ma Ta pub near
Egham rail every Thursday evening, so if you're blue and you don't know
where to go to then why don't you pop in and say hello.
Thanks a lot,
Mohamed
