Hello, Flick here.
Hopefully you all got back safely, particularly anyone who had to get planes for whatever reason.
Our film on tuesday is Stardust, 1900, arts building. I am yet to receive confirmation of which room.
Stardust is a NASA comet sample return mission. Their website (http://stardust.jpl.nasa.gov/home/index.html) says this:
"The primary goal of the Stardust mission was to collect samples of a comet and return them to Earth for laboratory analysis. Comets are ancient bodies of frozen ice and dust that formed beyond the orbit of the most distant planet. They were expected to contain materials that the solar system formed from, preserved in ice for billions of years. When the international team of 200 scientists began examination of the returned particles, we found that the particles were indeed ancient building blocks of the solar system but the nature and origin of the particles was quite unexpected."
Stardust is also a 2007 film, which IMDB describes as follows: "In a countryside town bordering on a magical land, a young man makes a promise to his beloved that he'll retrieve a fallen star by venturing into the magical realm."
As usual, some of the party, probably more likely those without exams the next day, will be heading to Stumble afterwards.
Peace and Long Life
