The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Elections and PARTAY, Tuesday 23rd March, 7pm, ALT 2.
Hello everyone,
It's our last film of the term tomorrow, and in accordance with that we're
doing the Time Warp back to last year and showing Rocky Horror again. Here
is a brief synopsis from Matt - "Set in 60s America, two recently engaged
twenty-somethings decide to visit an old teacher. They get a puncture, they
go to a castle to use a phone. Tim Curry, Richard O'Brien and Meat Loaf are
there. Everything is great. Sex, rock 'n' roll and debauchery ensue. One of
the best musicals of all time."
But before the insanity and transvestism ensues, it's election time! We will
be voting on next year's committee - President, Secretary, Treasurer and
Librarian. We need as many of you to turn up to make sure we reach our
quorum, and as further incentive, there will be a PARTY AT MATT'S after the
film.
Even though this is the last film of term, don't forget that we will still
be meeting at the Al Ma Ma Ta on Thursday evenings, and a few of us will be
attending Eastercon at Heathrow over, you guessed it, Easter, so there's
plenty of IFIS to keep you occupied over the barren Easter holidays.
See you tomorrow,
Mohamed
(IFIS Secretary 2009-2010)
