Godzilla Marathon - Saturday 20th March 2010, 3pm onwards - T125 (In the Physics Department)
Hey IFIS,
On Saturday, prepare to recoil in terror as we spend a day in the presence
of the King of Monsters himself, that's right, Mahin!
I mean GODZILLA!
We're watching FOUR Godzilla movies starting from 3pm on Saturday. Here we
go:
GODZILLA (1954)
GODZILLA: TOKYO S.O.S (aka GODZILLA vs MOTHRA vs MECHAGODZILLA)
Then a pleasant interlude for consumption of various consumables. Followed
by
GODZILLA vs DESTROYAH
GODZILLA (1998)
It's a veritable MONSTER MASH!
We're having this marathon in association with our friends at physics
society, who I am assured are watching the films from a scientific,
empirical perspective, hoping to observe the effects of A GIANT MONSTER
interacting with a modern city, and potentially ANOTHER GIANT MONSTER.
So we're pencilled in for room T125, which is in the physics department.
However, if you don't think you can find the room, we'll meet on the front
steps of the Horton building at about 2:50 before making our way down there.
See you on Saturday,
Mohamed
