Well said: I spotted this last Thursday and meant to post something.
For those of you who don't know, this seems to be some sort of fancy dress
disco (?) themed around turning up as something out of Star Trec/ Men in
Black or whatever. It is on Friday 13th February (unlucky for some), at the
SU, and is only a pound before 9.30, and something damn cheap after that.
Its a bit of a shame that IFIS isn't organising this, although lord knows
plenty has been organised this year- I guess SF has just become really
fashionable at last :-)
I could do with a laugh, like dancing, and therefore I intended to go down
there. Lord knows what I am going to wear, mind :-). I for one peered round
some charity shops on Saturday looking for inspiration, and nothing occured
to me. If anyone else round here intends to go, that would be good, as the
last time I went to a college function it was on my own, and it got a bit
lonely.
P.S. before we all go as a group, I will have to know who you are. As
someone who turns up only late on Thursdays, I have difficulty in putting
names to faces on a lot of people here. So, please identify yourself
somehow. I'm the short girl (which) helps, who turns up at the last minute.
Ask Neil, or Kumar or Steve or Adam or any of that lot who I am :-)
