Video Evenings
RHUL's email system looks unlikely to arise from it's ashes too soon,
so I'll do the announcement of the next couple of video evenings we're
planning...
26th Feb - The Lost World.
I ASSUME this is the Jurassic Park version, although there are
dozens of films with this name including at least one which is
newer than the JP version.
5th March - City of Lost Children.
I can't find any information on this film, unless it's the one
that's more correctly known as "La Cite des Enfants Perdus (1995)",
which sounds like a strange story about a mad scientist trying to
steal children's dreams, but only getting their nighmares because
they're scared of him.
If this IS the right film, there's a nice quicktime trailers at:
http://www.netsurf.org/~gauche/Trailers/LaCiteDesEnfantsPerdus.mov
http://www.sol.no/akersmic/trailere/citylost.mov
These are both the same anim, so don't bother downloading it twice.
Both of these films, and all sorts of appropriate links, are, of
course, on the IFIS events web page at:
www.ifis.org.uk/events/
(or www.ifis.org.uk/events.html if you use a vintage web
browser ;-)
