library installation
We now have the shelving units back from Mr Dalli snr.
These need fitting, as follows:
1) Take out the bottom two rows of books (first shelf being cardboard). The
bottom two rows books include many of the new books, and therefore include
many books which are *not* at the end of the alpahabet, so a good number
will need be put to one side to fit in furthur units.
2) Fit in books starting from the end of the alpabet into the first shelf unit.
Any duplicates will be removed, to be stored.
3) Catalogue books in the unit and a seperate list of duplicates.
3) Install the shelf unit.
4) Take out the next section of books.
5) Move down the next shelf
6) Fit in the next section of books.
7) Catalogue books.
etc cetera.
We will be short two shelves.
It can be done (or *started*) on Thursday, but it is going to be pretty
chaotic, and the corridor is busy. I am able to do this on Sunday afternoon,
but will need some help, as the units are too heavy to lift on ones own.
Volunteers please :-)
