OK. ENOUGH"!!!!!!
Martin I will be phoning you later anyway vis a vis our brief convo
later, but having read the multitude of mayhem you have apparently
caused I feel it is now time to step in and say something myself.
EVERYONE- AS PRESIDENT I CAN PROMISE YOU THAT
IFIS IS NOT GOING TO FOLD
THIS YEAR AND NEITHER WILL I ALLOW IT TO BE DERATIFIED.
Martin, if you had no good ideas, that doesn't mean I didnt and I
daresay Tim has too- Please next time put things to a committee meeting
before you wind the others up.
HAVING SAID THAT I THINK SOME OF THE IDEAS AND ONES I HADNT CONSIDERED
ARE BRILLIANT AND WE (THE COMMITTEE, yes Martin that means you too)
WILL BE FOLLOWING THEM UP IN DUE COURSE.
and Finally... Guys, if you really want an
IFIS party to start off next
term I shall be 20 on the 30th August and wouldn't mind post-poning a
party thing till I get back which you can use in the name of
IFIS - I'd
want you guys to be there anyhow... What do you think? Feedback please
:)
All the Best
Judith, PRESIDENT OF
IFIS

To be fair there hasn't really been that much mayhem. Instead we've been
having a pretty civil and adult discussion about the future of the society
and as you've noticed, come up with some pretty cool ideas too. I'm sure we
could bash out a few more ideas and thoughts too given a chance...

Well the intention was that we splurge the entire social fund on one final
party to make good use of the funds...but I don't think we need to do that
just yet.
But if you want to wait a bit to have your party down here, that's cool?

Chris, that part was for Martin only.
the party stuff was said because I had been told that the SU doesnt
like us to splurge our socials on things like massive parties-
leastways not v.often so I figured if I organised one myself it would
work better? The whole idea was not to revolve around me, but being an
english student I am naturally incabable of expressing myself without
getting tied in knots- hope tis clearer now- wasnt actually planning to
do anything this year for me personally- tisn't that significant.
