I happened to be on campus yesterday with a digital camera...

Can you work out what is missing from this picture?

I am trying to work out exactly where the pic is taken. I've got a feeling of dread
that it's the Athlone Car Park and that the authorities have finally got fed up of
waiting for subsidance to do it's work and have taken Williamson out.....

Definitely taken from near the end of the Founder's path with the EMU on
your left out of picture. Williamson should be in line with the big tree
which is visible and stands near the end of Reid Hall. I hope I'm wrong....

I spent 2 years in Williamson 113, and a good proportion of that time with an awful
lot of people in my room. Happy days. I know Sean, Dominic and Helen were also
inmates for a while.

I once set the fire alarm off in there - tripped in the corridor and put my elbow
through it on the way down.

If that is where I'm thinking there looks to be a lot less of Athlone too than I
remember.

Williamson is still standing for the moment - it's just out of shot to the

Phew. Can you get us a Williamson picture for old time's sake ?

I got chucked out of the Athlone common room on my 3rd day at University for trying
to watch ST:TNG while Home & Away was on. And their Boog really was awful. Shan't
miss it.
