And anything that spews forth from the mouth of that monstrosity posing as a captain.

I thought that was a good line, in that it was entertaining. I guess you might
complain that no-one in the scene showed any signs of finding it at all
amusing.

And incidentally, I thought Voyager was ok. I didn't go out of my way to watch
it, but I did watch it when I noticed it was on. It was like, er, Star Trek -
complete with dodgy plots and acting. Let's not get too pretentious about it.
I thought it was just that he hadn't been through the academy. He wasn't a
federation troop.

Then again - the first person to not wear a uniform was that bald woman in the
first ST film. Was she actually a federation subject/employee who'd been
through the training? Or was she just there to look cute?
Oh dear. I'm not sure there are any women that would make me watch a TV program
I didn't like otherwise, just to see them. You want to watch pretty women -
get a porn flick. You want Sci-Fi - don't worry about it so much.

Having a cute cast is nice, and I'm sure I enjoy programs more for having
pretty women (eg. B5's Ivanova) but they don't actually make me watch things.
I mean, I think Xena is gorgeous, but that doesn't make me watch her program.
