Intelligence, Ug and Arg and random violence.

In an earlier email I gave an example of Arg breeding because he had
used his intelligence to make a better weapon than poor dull-witted
Ug. Somebody objected to this on grounds that such random acts
of violence were not common in caveman society.
It was merely an example taken out of any context. If it helps then
think about it as Ug was an advance scout (or something) for his
tribe and his death was as a result of tribal violence. Arg's tribe then
went out and demonstrated to Ug's tribe the use of the sharpened stick
when thrown from a distance.Thus none of Ug's tribe bred. Tribal
violence is not something humanity has outgrown (Liverpoo-ool,
Millwa-all). What is nationalism other than tribal instinct with delusions
of grandeur? There are too many depressing examples of this to go
into so I won't.
