The Library
As many of you know, the society has a library. It was housed in a dingy
corner deep within the depths of Athlone...which is the old halls they're
knocking down. Luckily however and due to a small army of people and lots
of blagging we've managed to relocate it in the nick of time to Crosslands.
Which hopefully should mean that people should be able to start borrowing
books again.
However, unlike in previous years, we're not having a library session once a
week. Instead there is now an online reservation system on the IFIS
website. This means that you can go look at the list, find a book you want,
reserve it and someone will bring the book to the next film night or social
for you to collect.
To save you hunting around the IFIS website for the library the direct URL
is:
www.ifis.org.uk/resources/library/
You should all shortly receive another email containing your account
details. Also, the list of books is not up to date and there may be books
listed that are have long since gone missing. But this should hopefully be
sorted soon as we are planning to re-catalogue the library within the next
few weeks.
If there are any questions, problems etc... with the accounts or the online
library not working, please email me.
