So we've turned a zombie horror story into a michael bay action fest with GCI zombies and lots of miltary stuff.
And we have large amount of footage of jerusalem/Israel being over-run by zombies.
Oh dear.

I think you need to go back and read the title of the movie - it's clearly not meant to be a traditional zombie horror movie :)

True but from what I can tell online the movie is a mess.
People say the first 45 minutes of the movie are good but the rest falls to bits. Guessing from a 2 hour run time this means the best bit of the movie is where their escaping the city (a traditional zombie movie situation), but after they move to Israel (did you have to go there of all places?) it falls apart because the director couldn't decide what the zombies looked like 3 weeks before filming.
Anywat there is massive re-shoots happening so who knows what the finished product will look like.
