Join us for one of Dreamworks' best movies: 'How to Train your Dragon'. Follow the story of Hiccup as he attempts to train a Night Fury (Toothless), whilst also trying to earn the respect of his Viking tribe. It'll be an adventure of a lifetime (at least until the second one), so get ready to ride to Berk and hold on tight!

Come and see Pixar's latest film with us: Coco. The story follows a 12-year-old boy named Miguel Rivera who is accidentally transported to the land of the dead, where he seeks the help of his deceased musician great-great-grandfather to return him to his family among the living.Please check our Facebook Page for times/details.

Showtime!! We're gonna kick off the new term to an epic start with one of 2017's biggest hits: 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2'! Join Star Lord, Gammora, Drax, Rocket and Baby Groot as they continue their adventures through the galaxy with Awesome Mix Vol. 2 swiftly playing in the background. Invite your non-member friends as well since there will be free pizza during the film!

Let's go for a Pub Crawl! We'll be starting in The Beehive and making our way around the many pubs of Egham/Englefield Green, whilst ranting about the movies we saw over the holidays! (Note that Alcohol is optional)

Let's welcome back our members who've stuck with us with a classic fantasy movie that's extremely easy to quote! 'The Princess Bride' tells the tale of Westley and his friends who attempt to rescue his true love, Princess Buttercup from the odious Prince Humperdinck. Considered by many to be a cult classic, this'll be a fun night to kick off the new term!

Come and along and join in the fun as Batman attempts to stop his arch-nemesis, the Joker, from taking over Gotham City - whilst battling his own deep family issues along the way! Featuring the voices of Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson and Ralph Fiennes; there's something for everyone in this really funny film!

What kind of Science Fiction-Fantasy movie are we going to watch tonight? Something that's "Acceptable in the 80s" (pardon the pun!). We'll bring a selection of 80s movies (shortlist TBC) and YOU will have the chance to vote for your favourite!

Our 3rd and final cinema trip for this term is the final superhero movie of the year: Justice League. A follow-up to Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and the 5th installment of the DC Extended Universe; Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg must unite to stop Steppenwolf and his army of parademons who are on the hunt for the three Mother Boxes on Earth.

Come and experience last year's Science Fiction classic from director Denis Villeneuve (Prisoners, Sicario, Blade Runner 2049): 'Arrival'. Starring Amy Adams (DCEU), Jeremy Renner (MCU) and Forest Whitaker (Rogue One), and based off the short story 'Story of your life' by Ted Chiang; this film follows the discoveries made by a team of scientists when 12 alien spaceships arrive on Earth and attempt to communicate.The film received 8 nominations including Best Picture and won for Best Sounding Editing.

Do you know your Doctor Who from your Doctor Strange? Do you know your Deadpools, Deadshots and Deathstrokes inside out? Do you know what exactly is the function of a rubber duck? (Arthur Weasley really wants to know!). Then come along to our highly anticipated Autumn Quiz. Get yourself into teams and compete to discover which group of nerds really know their stuff. The quiz rounds will test your geek knowledge to the extreme, including our mystery round which could literally be about anything!

Our second cinema trip for this term is the highly anticipated THOR: RAGNAROK. The 3rd Thor movie and the 17th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; come along and enjoy watching Thor, Hulk, Valkyrie, Loki, Heimdall and Odin take on Hela (the Goddess of Death) and prevent the oncoming Ragnarok (with an appearance from Doctor Strange as well!).

Oooooh... It's Halloween! By our logic, we need to watch a Science Fiction-Fantasy Horror Movie; but which one? We'll bring a small selection of films (shortlist TBC) and YOU will have the chance to vote for your scary movie of the night! Muwahahahahahahaaaaaa.....Also, we're going to be holding a costume competition. Come dressed as something Science Fiction-Fantasy related or Halloween related and we'll vote for the best! (The Winner will receive a special prize...)

For those of you who want to come to Comic Con with us, we'll be taking the train and tube up! Some of us have already bought priority entry tickets, so make sure you can get hold of your tickets by going to the official website. Hooray! It's one of our more traditional events: the Panel Games Night! Here, we'll be playing a few games inspired by such popular stand-up panel shows such as Just a Minute, I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue, Whose Line is it Anyway? and Room 101 (as well as having the occasional rant about movies in general).
