An event hosted by IFIS, RHUL Science Fiction and Fantasy society.
This is a classic science fiction TV comedy first shown in the late 80s.
Red Dwarf is a mining spaceship whose crew is wiped out by a radiation leak. The only survivor is Dave Lister who happened to be in suspended animation as punishment for smuggling onboard a cat. 3 million years later, he's revived by the ship's computer (who has long since gone senile) and told the bad news and also that the ship is now lost in deep space. And so begins many adventures as he tries to find his way back to Earth aided and hindered by the various people he meets along the way.
The plan is to watch the first episode and then a random selection of others from the first 2 or 3 seasons (ie none of the crappy later seasons).
Afterwards, assuming there isn't a launch party cluttering up the place, we will retire to Crosslands for drinks and socialising.
