An event hosted by IFIS, RHUL Science Fiction and Fantasy society.
Our member's choice of the term, as voted for on our "suggest a film" poll, is Cargo.
The blurb (cobbled together by Adrian) is as follows:
Earth is an ecological wasteland. Mankind's leftovers now live on overcrowded orbital space-stations, all hoping to raise enough money to buy passage to Rhea - humanity's new home.
Young medic Laura joins the crew of the old and decrepit cargo freighter Kassandra in the hope of earning enough to join her sister, who has already gone to Rhea. Four years out to Station 42, then four years back, and she'll have enough money.
Four months before the end of her shift as the only person awake on the ship, she comes to realise that she's not alone, and that things are not as they should be in the cargo hold.
