Joss Whedon gets feature film

A film version of Firefly would seem to have been approved.
Can't say I ever watched it myself, but I know some of you guys did.

I'd just be interested to see how good Whedon is when he gets his paws on a
feature film.

You could find out - isn't there a BtVS film version out there pre dating
the series ?

For those who are interested he's also writing the Astonishing X-Men comic
from May onwards ?

I never realised Joss Whedon had anything to do with the film, but yes
indeedy, he's credited with writing it.
Nobody. The Union only introduced Life Memberships the year I left, which I
would personally hold responsible for planting the idea in people's heads
that they could carry on hanging about. There was also a sudden flurry of
people who left college and moved to the local area.

PS. I am not currently a member of IFIS, and therefore officially have no
opinion on what it does, I only lurk around because this list is actually a
pretty good knowledge base for SF-related stuff. You really can't put a
price on that.

Or indeed, as I'm always keen to point out, Mr. Whedon was story editor (or
something) for Toy Story 1.

The original Buffy film is a hoot, if only for the terrible vampire make
up - features an odd mix of cast too - Rutger Hauer and Donald Sutherland,
but also Paul Reubens (Pee Wee Herman), Kristy Swanson and Sideshow Luke
Perry.
