No sadly. I looked at the rest of the sites for both of them and
the second one is most definately serious. Its not just on about Harry
Potter and Pokemon either, theres some nasty stuff about the internet,
"wrong" music and why homosexuality is apparently evil...

As I said, it offended my sensibilities.

You have to admit though, that if you did want to persuade people to start
summoning demons, the best way to do it is to get them used to the concept
that talking about magic, and the surrounding mystique is entirely harmless.
Make people stop worrying about it. Destroy the knee-jerk reaction to the
concepts.

Go back to the middle ages and start talking about AD&D and you get burned
at the stake.
Jump to modern day, and you just get a funny look, and a tag of "weirdo".
Leap ahead again, and nobody bats an eyelid. Thats when you can start
changing people's perceptions to try and introduce the concept that magic
and demon summoning can actually be a good thing.

It's all bollocks of course, but if it WAS a cunning plan, you could put a
tail on it and call it a weasel.

The basic axiom is that every word in the bible is holy writ.

The bible is fairly specific on this kind of issue. You should have

Harry Potter is all about a small kid who is taught magic. On reading
the books, lots of small kids want to mimic their hero and learn magic.

The conclusion is completely logical. If you want your children to
grow up to be God fearing christians, you should not allow them
to read Harry Potter books.

There are two ways that you can debate this belief. One is to attack

day Christians. You'll find that most of them, would rather not

the bottom of the garden for that awkward 3 days a month.

However, it's a debate that's been bothering Christians for around 2000
years, so don't expect any quick answers. (Unless you're a catholic
obviously).
These guy's are fairly harmless. They're not demanding that the books
are banned (or burnt). They're just telling parents, "You should be
careful before allowing your kids access to these books".

There are far worse things under the sun than that...

Neil Armstrong tripped.

They are not harmless. I agree with some of their points, but they are
dangerous in that they assume that children are unable to make up their own
minds about things. These are the sort of people who will destroy their
children's imaginations and prevent their children from ever being able to read
things analytically. They are the ones brainwashing their children, not Joanne
Rowling.

I noticed they managed to get a few digs at the church of England in there
too...
