Reboot Movies
lot of IFIS people like the TV series "reboot", don't they? looks like there's
going to be a couple of films...In case anyone is remotely interested the company that make reboot haven't
exactly been idle since the demise of the original series. Their major
productions have been Shadow Raiders - loosely based on the War Planets toys and
_very_ good indeed - and Beast Wars and Beast Machines - based on the last 2
lines of Transformers toys, sadly deposed from UK TV screens by executives
unable to see beyond the ratings hype of Pokemon.
All 3 of these are very reminiscent of Reboot's style in places - BM especially
so. I've got all of BW and Shadow Raiders on tape if anyone wants a look.
Another CGI Cartoon in progress is Roughnecks - based on the Starship Troopwers
film. Again very good. Of the 3 it's the only one to regularly feature humans
which seems to be a chalenge for people to animate accurately.
