Planned Events
Some things for peoples diaries if anyone is interested.
Friday 2nd Nov - 1st Friday in Murphy's Bar in Egham from 8pm
Sat 3rd Nov - going to Rock & Gem Fayre at Kempton Park. Lots of cheap real
sparkly things at a lot less then you pay in the shops. Admission is 2.80.
Let me know if people want to go and I will organise transport. (Is also on
4th Nov)
Sat 10th Nov - Trip to the Wallace collection in London. Is mainly aimed at
anyone who wants to look at weaponry, but lots of other things in the musuem
as well. (Ask Ron about the chainmail...) Probably catching train about 10am
ish. Will send out more details nearer time. Have planned it so that the
re-enactors can have an idea of anything they want to buy the next weekend.
Wallace Collection is Free entry.
Sat 17th Nov - Oxford Re-enactors market is on at Blackbird Lees. Have also
found that live role players find is useful for kit. Will organise transport
for those interested nearer time. Gives you a chance to save up your pennies
up... (again is also on on 18th Nov, but have found from experience that
most of the decent stuff has gone by the Sunday)
