The IFIS Annual General Meeting will be held:
At 7:30PM
In Main Lecture Theatre, Founders
On Thursday 22nd March 2001
This is where the current committee members all get kicked out of their
jobs, and new, willing and insane candidates are elected into the positions
for the coming year.
Any changes within the constitution are also voted upon as well as any other
business.
Positions available are:
Exec:
Chairbeing - overall dictator
Treasurer - tracks all the money
Secretary - sorts out society forms and stuff
Standard committee:
Publicity Officer - sorts out posters etc
Librarian - looks after the IFIS library, found in times square.
If you would like to stand for one of these positions, then please nominate
yourself on the following webpage:
www.ifis.org.uk/society/nominations/
You will also need someone to second your nomination.
Turning up physically at the AGM would be helpful to your election cause as
well.
Being medically insane isn't a pre-requisite, but it may help, especially if
you want the chairbeing position.
If you are unable to vote in person, then you can vote by proxy. Details for
how to do this will be posted shortly.
