Great site.
not sure what was funnier, the pages themselves or the
guestbook entries from offended Trekkies that actually
took it seriously and started pointing out flaws in his
arguments.

He has a point about sporks though...

You have to remember, there _are_ people out there that can and probably
do think that Star Trek is satan and evil.

Thankfully it's illegal these days, for them to go around burning people and
killing them if they don't convert *P).

Against that, I have genuinely met people who think that they can see the
way to a true and noble life thorugh studying hard the guidance laid down
in the holy tracts of Star Trek.

When I heard one of these fine people providing guidance to a lost soul at a
Con, it thought it was very funny. The problem was they both took it
entirely seriously.

So, I guess I can see where Christians might feel bothered by that sort of
behaviour. Ah well.

Well I could have told you all that! :-)

But really, it was a very amusing site. At first I thought he was taking
the piss, but by the end he seemed to be taking himself seriously. I've
heard a lot of religious nuts and they didn't sound too different from
him. Also the site was part of the "American Conservative Christians" web
ring, so he must have convinced someone of his views. :-)

The only thing that really annoyed me about it is that all the female
characters where labelled either 'whore' or 'wench', while the male
characters got impressive titles, like 'Warrior of the prince of
darkness.'

The whole thing left me with one nagging question, though.... If he thinks
Captain Picard is the Anti-Christ, Then what does that make Captain Kirc?

I like her new hairdo - whats wrong with it?

oh just the stuff of legend, like the fact that it manages to re-arrange and
tidy itself up halfway through a battle, whilst crew members are being
thrown against panels and bulk-heads.... :o)
