Deep Impact

How many people out there want to see Deep Impact?
Come on own up I want to no who exactly wants to see this film.

Do our members want to see this or something else like the best episodes of
the X-Files, Red Dwarf, Star trek (DS9, Voyager, ST:NG), or something along
these lines.

It looks likely we are are going to do a Monty Python night this term and
the Star Wars Triology. What else do people want to see?

Just as an experiment we could try showing the first 6 and the last 3
all in one go and see how many people are fit for human society
afterwards.

Yeah, Buffy the series kicks ass. But please dont put the film on, I think
I'd turn to dust instead of the vampires.

We should also play more "Classics" that people aren't all going to have
seen - 2001, Brazil, insert name here...

If we get a weekend slot playing a bunch of hammer films might be a good
laugh

Yeah I think we had thought about doing Monty Python - Life of brian, holy
grail etc..I guess they'll only get shown if the chairman feels them to be
popular - they're not well known Hollywood blockbusters - so who knows.

As far Star Wars, yes it has been on zillions of times, but it's not often
you get to see it on a HUGE screen with an awesome loud sound system. *8)

How about an evening of startrek, especially, voyager-season4, gattaca is a
great film too..

Regarding Star Trek : Voyager...
although there are some horrendously bad episodes in season 4 (vis a vis, to
name one), I know that there are some bloody brilliant ones there as well.

Look out for : Scorpion Parts 1 & 2, which we'll be showing before
christmas.

Also next year, possible episodes may be :

The killing game, 1 & 2
The Year of Hell, 1 & 2

I am reluctant to show any future Deep Space Nine episodes, since these
would spoil the current series being shown on BBC2.

Gattaca is a likely possibility for next year, so watch this space!!
